The 2021-2022 ECNL season is in full effect and the player’s and coaches’ excitement to be back enjoying the beautiful game can be felt around our club. We had the chance to host the season-opener at our Seminole Soccer Complex against Florida Kraze Krush and it was great to see players competing on the pitch and families supporting from the sideline. We traveled to Jacksonville for our second game of the season and now the ECNL boys teams are preparing for their third league game - on the road to Florida Premier.
Between these League games, our ECNL boys teams participated in the Labor Day Shootout in Jacksonville and represented our club very well. The 2008 and 2006 teams made it to the finals and have played great soccer throughout the fall. As a coaching staff, we are super proud of the boys not only with how great their performance was over the course of four games, but also with the way that each team competed and never gave up. We are equally proud of the way in which the parents supported the players and Orlando City Seminole as a whole. The Jacksonville tournament was a great weekend of soccer and fun!
As usual, our competition is tough and opponents always aim to compete extra hard against our teams. Our goal as a club remains the same: to develop top-level players and individuals. Throughout this process, we want to make sure that we instill a competitive edge within our players. We want to fight and compete in every game at every age group and be the best in Florida and in the country. It’s a process that requires time, a lot of work from our great coaches and players, patience, and positive support from our wonderful parents and families. We are heading in the right direction and we are confident that results will soon follow.
