Recreational Programs

The Junior Lions Program is perfect for the player graduating from Little Lions or beginning their journey into soccer. The Director of Community Soccer leads the program along with a group of licensed and volunteer coaches. They build an environment that promotes learning, physical activity, skill acquisition, and fun. Licensed coaches teach your child basic techniques, and age-appropriate movement skills focusing on body control, agility, balance, and coordination.

Every week your child will engage in one coach-led training session/game against other teams within the club. Weekly games pair teams against one another that are of a similar skill level.

Junior Lions is a team-centered program, adding to your child’s development.  Your child will build a compilation of life skills as they take on challenges with their team. Being part of a team helps to teach communication, teamwork, responsibility, and commitment.  These skills will serve your child for the rest of their life.

Junior Lions are split into two age groups; Birth years 2012-2014 and 2009-2011 and play against one another with their training. This program is available in two separate areas across Greater Orlando. (You can register for your most convenient location:

  • East Orlando (servicing UCF, Baldwin Park, Lake Underhill, Azalea Park)
  • Seminole Soccer Complex (servicing Sanford, Lake Mary, Heathrow, Altamonte, and Longwood)
