David Dir

David Dir has served as President and CEO of Dave Dir Consulting for the past 18 years. Dir is a well-established professional player identification, scouting, and evaluation expert. He brings extensive experience in facility management, player and staff education, 501c3 business management, and strategic partnerships. He previously served as President & Executive Director of the massive youth soccer club, the Colorado Storm from 2014-2018 and for ASG Soccer club in Dallas from 2002-2012. Dave has been a scout for the United States Soccer Federation and the Vancouver Whitecaps, Assistant Coach for the USA U-20 Men’s National Soccer Team and Head Coach of the Dallas Burn and the Colorado Foxes, as well as broadcaster/analyst for the major sports network productions on ESPN and Fox Sports; including World Cup Tonight and MLS Weekly.

Shaw Header

Paul Shaw bio

Paul Shaw joined OCSS – Seminole in 2012. In his time here he has coached at all ages from the u23 to u9. Currently the General Manager and Boys Technical Director, Coach Shaw has helped many boys and girls reach their dreams of playing at the highest levels of soccer. Former players include Raul Aguilera, Jordan Bender, Michael Halliday, Benji Michel and David Loera - who are current homegrown professionals with Orlando City. Coach Shaw has also helped numerous players earn NCAA scholarships and compete at the highest levels of collegiate Men’s and Women’s Soccer. Coach Shaw holds a UEFA A license and US Soccer A License. 

As a professional player in England and across Europe, Shaw played over 450 professional games in a career that spanned over 20 years. A former Arsenal midfielder, Shaw featured under Arsene Wenger in Champions League play during his 9 years at the London club. He was later the first Englishman to play in Hungary, captaining Ferencvaros to a second division title by a record 17 points. 

Shaw also works as a color analyst covering Orlando City MLS games on radio.

Cordoba Title

Cordoba Bio

Carlos Córdoba comes to OCSS - Seminole with an impressive playing and coaching resume. As a player in Argentina, Córdoba led his Boca Juniors team to three First Division Championships and winning a World Club title. Córdoba’s coaching experience includes work as Girl's Director of Coaching and ECNL Director at Colorado Storm and Colorado Rapids. Most recently, Córdoba served as Technical Director of Coaching at Strike FC in Wisconsin.

After moving to the United States, Córdoba played and later went on to coach in the Milwaukee area at the professional indoor club, the Milwaukee Wave, and the professional American soccer team, Milwaukee Rampage. Coach Córdoba’s resume also includes impressive stints at Dallas Texans as Director of Player Development, University of Wisconsin - Whitewater’s Women’s Head Coach, Club Director at Mequon United, San Diego Hornets Head Coach, and Assistant Head Coach to Club Athletic, Tecos and Chivas in Mexicos Liga MX. Córdoba also served head coach of the Miami Fusion of MLS and as assistant coach of the Dallas Burn (now FC Dallas).

Sr Girls Title

Robbie Gobble

Robbie Gobble is in his 4th year serving as the Senior Girls Director of OCSS - Seminole and his 8th year overall with the club. Coach Gobble enjoys sharing his extensive knowledge with his players and the rest of the coaching staff. In his nearly 20 years of coaching, Coach Gobble has won 2 national championships and led his U14 OCSS - Seminole team to a state championship. He has also coached over 100 players that have gone on to realize their goal of playing collegiate soccer. Coach Gobble holds a US Soccer "A" license as well as National Youth and National Youth Goalkeeper licenses from United Soccer Coaches Association.

Jr. Boys Title

Marcelo Fontana

Marcelo "Celo" Fontana has an extensive background in working and developing players at all levels. After an impressive playing career, Celo transitioned from player to coach, taking on positions as Director of Coaching for the Milwaukee Wave academy, Milwaukee Kickers’ Junior Academy Director, and Assistant Director of Coaching and Director of the Junior Academy for Mequon Soccer Club in Wisconsin. He also served as Head Coach of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Omaha Vipers. A former professional player, Marcelo began his professional career at 19 in his homeland Argentina before moving to the United States to play for a number of professional soccer teams including the Seattle SeaDogs, Florida ThunderCats, Wichita Wings and Milwaukee Wave in a playing career that lasted 23 years. 

Jr. Girls Title

Bobby Sauer

Robbert "Bobby" Sauer has been coaching in the Orlando soccer community for over 18 years. In the time, he has coached coaching girls and boys from 5-18 years. His teams have reached the Florida State Finals and gone on to compete at the National level with US Club Soccer at NPL Nationals and Super Y League Nationals. Coach Bobby has also previously coached both Boys and Girls high school soccer. He was the Orlando Metro Coach of the year in 2009-2010 and 2010-2011. Bobby was an Assistant Coach at Warner University, an Assistant Coach for Orlando City Men's Professional Development League Team, and a staff coach for National ODP in the Super Y League. Bobby has his US Soccer National B License, his National Diploma, and a Master’s Degree in Health Administration. Bobby has 6 players playing in US professional leagues and has navigated the College recruiting process for dozens of players both boys and girls, including 4 of his own children.

Community Programs

Stephen Harrison Header

Stephen Harrison

Stephen Harrison enjoys expanding soccer into the community and exposing young players to the game he loves. In addition to running the community programs, including Little Lions and Junior Lions, Stephen works with local schools and community organizations to expand soccer in Seminole, Lake and Orange counties as well as the greater Orlando area. Stephen is also a veteran club coach, having previously led his OCSS - Seminole teams to a state championship and participation in the U13 national tournament. Prior to joining Orlando City - Seminole, Stephen coached in the famed Sheffield United academy in England as well as with Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday. He holds a US Soccer National Youth license and FA Futsal Level 1 license.

An accomplished player, Stephen earned 30 caps with the England National Futsal Team and represented Great Britain in the World University Games.
